Amazingly, 4 books delivered today to me without me getting out of office. Books from eBay.ph. I paid only P700 pesos for the said books (1 is a coffee table book about gardens, btw, I am not gay). I paid via gcash and it was sent via 2Go courier service.

And today, I ordered clocks from HK. For personal use and project. The amount is around 100 dollars. I paid via my Paypal account and in minutes, payment is done. The clocks should arrive perhaps next week.

If 20 years ago, you told me, “hey in twenty years you can sit your butt off, and can shop and pay wherever the seller is and wherever the items are and whenever you want it”, I would have told you, you’re crazy. Then again, you may have been a toddler twenty years ago.

Beauty shopping is a sure-bet stress buster from a long day’s work, or a week full of grueling activities. Beauty products somehow appease us, making us look good, feel good, and somehow just give us a reason to get excited for another day’s worth of primping and prettifying. Beauty shopping is usually equated with raiding cosmetic counters or health and beauty stores, where you get to see the products up-close, get recommendations from your friendly sales assistants, road-test the products yourself, and see what makeup fits your skin tone, or what perfume pleases your olfactory senses, before making that purchase. Nowadays, shopping is not confined within the malls or boutiques anymore. You can shop for your beauty goods while sitting at your desk surfing the internet!

Last week, the owners of topblogs.com.ph launched another Philippine blog related project. It’s the Weblogs.com.ph.  We use their topblogs site, and most likely, we’ll list our sites too on this brand new Philippine Blogs Directory.

While the point of TopBlogs.com.ph was to rank sites according to the raw traffic they got, Weblogs.com.ph will be the de-facto blog directory for the Philippines. It will have features TopBlogs.com.ph does not have, such as related blogs, the current buzz, and

1990 – The first search engine, Archie, is written by Alan Emtage, a computer science student at the university of Montreal, enabling users to locate material on public computers. On Christmas Day Tim Berners-Lee compiles the first webpage at the unmemorable URL nxoc01.cern.ch.
