Garage Sale Tips

1. Determine if you have enough items to warrant a garage sale. Not having enough items will not attract people to stop and see what you have to offer. To prevent “Drive By’s” team up with a neighbor and have a joint event. The more things you have to offer, the more people will stop.
2. Have items clearly marked. Use color coded dots to represent a price if you don’t have time to price every item.
3. Be willing to negotiate! The reason you are selling items it because you no longer need it. If you have a sentimental attachment to a particular item, perhaps you should consider keeping it. You probably will not be willing to bend on price.
