Sulit Scare

Written by ShopOne on November 7th, 2008 in Our News.

One of the sites I check during my mornings is Sulit.com.ph. Earlier today I got one hell of a scare, after I was my browser was redirected to sedo (a known domain buy & sell thing).

First thought, am I blocked or suspended again by the mighty Sulit? Second thought, was Sulit.com.ph hacked or something. Either way, not be able to access Sulit for few hours meant my stomach acting up in anxiety. We get good sales out of Sulit.com.ph and not being able to access the site is big. I asked a couple of poeple to try accessing the site, to no avail.

Here’s what we all got…

Finally, just now, the site is up again and running. I don’t know if the site is 100% fully operational. But here’s a quick info from RJ the owner…

Please be advised that there is currently a problem with Sulit.com.ph domain.

We are currently trying to resolve the issue with the domain registry of the Philippines as the nameserver of Sulit.com.ph has been changed to sedoparking.com nameservers without us changing it and without our knowledge. Unfortunately, there seems to be no support guys or anyone from domains.ph beyond the regular office hours.

Our account in domains.ph was also surprisingly non-existing and we cannot login to their system.

Sorry for the inconvenience but this is already out of our control and we will try our best to get everything back to normal and get answers from domains.ph on the details regarding why this happened. source

We got a couple of domains registered with Domains.ph too and I have some issues with them that is still pending. We’ll try to work out our domain problems with Domains.ph too and hopefully SULIT domain problem or investigation would clear up too. If there are sites in the Philippines that we can’t afford to lose, at the top of the list would be Sulit.com.
