On AuctionAds and AdAuction

After putting the AuctionAds and AdAuction here on our live auctions page, we let it run for a couple of weeks. Checking back the Ad Tracker at AdAuction (ad service by Auction.ph, Philippine based) and the report page for AuctionAds (U.S. based), what we have is a GRAND TOTAL EARNINGS of 0.00 Pesos and 0.00 Dollars.

One thing that is working against the AuctionAds is, it dishes out eBay items from eBay.com (U.S.)listings. Which means, this blog’s visitors (likely, Philippine based) are not getting targeted eBay items. AuctionAds thats gives eBay.ph listings would have been nice.

But wait, Auction.Ph did just that. They supply local items posted at Auction.ph in their AdAuction. Why still no commission from Auction.Ph? Well, Filipinos are not yet savvy online buyers. We, yes we, tend to wait and see what’s going on before we ever do a purchase or a bid.

Of course, huge traffic (which this site doesn’t have as of now) is really needed to score clicks and commissions with the two services. But what I know is, the space we use to serve these ads would be better utilized by serving our own associates links (or simply put, our own products and services). Those who post for us at different Philippine online marketplace, we’ll post in the LIVE AUCTIONS page.

But we’ll leave AuctionAds and AdAuction codes just to continuously track down how these things are used and applied and how they (under)perform as well. We’ll also pick some nice spots where we can put the AdAuction Ads, just not giving up in this project. With or without improvement, we’ll share the experience with y’all. Bookmark our blog.
