2checkout.com

2Checkout.com will allow you to become a vendor and begin accepting orders in minutes with only a $49 sign-up fee. This is a way to accept credit cards directly on your website.

Also, if you are selling items at eBay, this can apply. I have processed a couple of eBay purchases using 2checkout.com. They got this option, “Send An Invoice,” where you have tool to send a billing invoice to the winning bidder. Ask 2checkout about this stuff.

Overall, the charges include a $49 one time signup fee, $0.45 per sale or roughly P25.00. On top of that, a 5.5% of sale amount will be added.

Other than those, there are no monthly bills, statement fees and other hidden costs.

International suppliers accepted. That’s why I used this for a while. Check Payment or Low Cost Wire to Non U.S. Bank Accounts is mode of fund transfer. In our case, we have a dollar account in Metrobank, that’s where the funds are directed.

The negatives: After using the 2Checkout.com facility for over two years, I found out that their system and staff is a little buyer-friendly. Just one complaint, and they’ll refund the funds to the buyer/customer. Another thing, I tried calling their technical support thru phone and they put me on-hold for good 15 to 20 minutes. Not only this is pain in the ear (you’ll hear, “your caller number 18, you’re caller number 12, and so on… until it is your time to talk to the staff but also a pain in the pocket. Expect long distance bills to go up.
